Spiritus Systems The Thing 3 – Chest Rig Platform
The THING 3 is a rigid load-bearing platform designed to expand the carrying capacity of the Micro Fight Chest Rig system or serve as a versatile foundation for a fully custom MOLLE-based setup. With 4-column, double-sided MOLLE fields on each side, it allows secure pouch attachment both front and back, giving you maximum modularity.
To complete the setup, the Fat Strap and Back Strap are required (sold separately).

- Fully Articulating Buckles – Mounted on reinforced eyelets, the buckles provide superior articulation and comfort while keeping gear stable.
- Quick Placard Attachment – Integrated loop field and retaining loops enable fast, secure mounting of Micro Fight MkV, MkIV, or other compatible placards, making it easy to switch between chest rig and plate carrier use.
- Dual-Sided MOLLE Fields – Center MOLLE panels on both sides allow versatile loadouts, including up to 3x SPUD pouches or compact admin/storage solutions.
- Modular Core Design – The center section can be separated to integrate accessories such as the SACK Pouch, Lunch Box, or Brunch Box using hook-and-loop.
- Fat Strap Ready – Includes two 1” male split-bar buckles for direct Fat Strap integration when running without a placard.
